5 days tour from marrakech to fes

Your journey begins at 8:00 a.m. with a pickup from your Riad or hotel in Marrakech. We will travel across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m), offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages. After lunch, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous fortified village that has served as the backdrop for over 20 major films. We then continue toward Ouarzazate, catching a glimpse of the Skoura Oasis and its authentic 17th-century architecture within the "Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs." We conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Following breakfast, we depart Ouarzazate for the Skoura Oasis to visit Kasbah Amridil, a true architectural marvel along the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs." Our journey continues through the Rose Valley, where we travel 30km off-road to meet and share tea with local Nomad families. After visiting the Ait Youl Kasbah, we will have lunch at the Dades Gorge. The afternoon is yours to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the scenic Dades Valley. We end the day with a delicious dinner and a relaxing night in the heart of the Dades Gorges.

After breakfast, we head to the Todra Gorge, a massive limestone canyon with 300m high walls surrounding a lush palmary and Berber settlements. Following lunch in the gorge, we venture deeper into the desert toward Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, you will embark on a 90-minute camel trek to reach your desert camp. Enjoy an evening under the stars with a traditional Berber dinner before sleeping in an authentic nomad tent made of camel hair.

Wake up early to witness a spectacular desert sunrise followed by breakfast. You will return to the hotel by camel to freshen up before beginning a tour of the dunes, where you can observe the desert’s ever-changing colors. We will visit the "black village" of Khamlia to experience the spiritual music of the Gnawa, then head to the ancient capital of Rissani for a traditional Berber pizza lunch. In the afternoon, we return to your hotel in Merzouga for a quiet evening of relaxation and rest.

After breakfast, we depart Merzouga for Fes. The route takes us through Erfoud and Errachidia toward Midelt, where we will stop for lunch. Afterward, we continue through the Cedar Forests of Azrou, stopping to observe the wild Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Our journey concludes as we arrive in Fes just before sunset.
